For any collision, loss in energy is,

LossofK.E.=12×m1m2(m1+m2)×(u1u2)2×(1e2)

But m1=90gm,m2=10gm,u1=100cm1,u2=0,e=0.5

LossofK.E=12×900100×1002×(10.52)=33750 ergs
