Solution

The correct option is C Rs. 400
Sol.

Given,

A alone can do a piece of work in = 6 days

A’s 1 day’s work = 16

B alone can do a piece of work in = 8 days

B’s 1 day’s work = 18

Work done by A and B together in one day = 16 + 18

A, B and C together can do a piece of work in = 3 days

1 day’s work of A,B,C = 13

C’s 1 day’s work = 13[(16+18]

= 13724 = 124
A’s wages : B’s wages : C’s wages =

16 : 18 : 124

= 4 : 3 : 1 ( LCM of 6,8,24=24)
So, C’s share for 3 days = Rs. (3 × 124×3200) = Rs. 400
