They start simultaneously in a rave which requires them to cover 15 rounds. whenever A and B meet, it was found that the ratio of the number of rounds covered by them till then is 3 : 1. The time taken by B to complete the race if they meet every 5 minutes is ?

The correct option is B 150 minutes
The ratio of their speed is 3 : 1
(3 - 1) = 2. They meet at two points. 1st meeting point at the starting point (x) and second at the exact opposite point (y).
Since they meet once in 5 mins, it takes B 5 min to cover x - y (half circle) so 10 min to cover full circle.
15 multiplied by 10 to cover 15 rounds = 150 mins.
