$A$ and $B$ are points $150km$ apart or a highway two cars start with different speeds from $A$ and $B$ at same time. if they move in same direction, they meet in $15hours$ and if they move in opposite direction they meet in one hour. Find they speeds.

Let the speeds of the cars starting at A,B are $v_1,v_2$ respectively. Let they move in direction from A to B and meet each other at $xkm$ away from B.

$v_2\times 15=x;v_1\times 15=150+x⟹v_1=10+v-2$

If they move in opposite direction they meet in one hour such that they combinedly cover a distance of 150km.

$v_1+v_2=150⟹v_1=80kmph,v_2=70kmph$
