Solution

The correct option is C 72
Given : P(A)=0.2 and P(AB)=0.7,A and B are independent.
To Find : P(AB)
Solution : We know that if A and B are independent, then P(AB)=P(A)P(B)
So, 0.7=0.2 ×P(B)
P(B)=0.7/0.2
P(B)=7/2
