Given P(A)=0.3, P(AB)=0.8........(1).

Also given A,B are independent then P(AB)=P(A).P(B)......(2).

From (1) we have

P(AB)=P(A)+P(B)P(AB)=0.8

P(A)+P(B)P(A)P(B)=0.8 [Using (2)]

P(B)0.3P(B)=0.80.3

0.7P(B)=0.5

P(B)=57
