From the figure again, you can see C is placed at r2. Now see the direction of force due to A on C.
FAC and force due to B on C FBC from simple coulomb's law you can answer as follows
FAC=KQ.Q/2r2y=2KQ2r2=2F
Now, FBC=KQ2/4r2/4=KQ2r2=F
Then, resultant force according to diagram will be
Fresultant=2FF=F along FA0
