If the two ships take 14 hour to reach their distance for closest approach, find the distance of closest approach. (in km)

In 14 hour distance parallel to ship Ais x and perpendicular to A is y.
x=20sin30°×14=52kmy=20cos30°×14=53km
Actual closest distance D=(52)2+(532)2=254+754=102=5km
