Solution

The correct option is B Rs. 1500
Let the total profit be Rs. 100.
After paying to charity, A’s share=Rs. 95×35=Rs.57.
If A's share is Rs.57 then the total profit =Rs. 100.
If A’s share Rs. 855, let the total profit be Rs. x
Since, it is a direct variation, so x100=85557
⇒x=10057×855
=100×15
∴x=Rs. 1500.
