A and B started a business with a total investement of Rs. 30,600. If the total profit of Rs. 15,000 is divided equally instead of dividing it in the ratio of their investement, then A gets Rs. 200 more. What is the investement of A ?

total investement = Rs. 30,600

total profit = Rs. 15,000

if the profit is divided equally each person gets RS 7500 each

if A got 200 more implies A just need to get 7300 Rs only (7500-200=7300)

the correct profit % of A = 7300 over 15000=0.48666666667

so the Investment amount of A = 0.48666666667cross times30600=14892 rs

so Investment amount of B = 30600-14892 = 15708 rs
