The correct option is A expectations of A and B are Rs.6 and Rs.5 respectively.
In his first throw As chance is 16, in his second its is 56×56×16,
because each players must have failed once before.
A can have a second throw, in his third throw his chance is (56)4×16 because each players must have failed twice, and so on.
Thus As chance is the sum of the infinite series
16(1+(56)2+(56)4+...)
Similarly Bs chance is the sum of the infinite series 56.16(1+(56)2+(56)4)
Therefore As chance is to Bs as 6 is to 5;
their respective chance are therefore 611 and 511
and their expectation are rs6 and rs5 respectively.
