A's alone's one day's work $= \frac{1}{9}$

$∴$ B's alone one day's work \\ $= \frac{1}{6} - \frac{1}{9}$

$= \frac{3 - 2}{18} = \frac{1}{18}$

$∴$ B can finish the work in 18 days
