A,B and C working together can plough a field in 24/5 days. A and C Together can do it in 8 days . How long would B working alone take to plough tthe field?

Given : A , B and C can plough a field in
4+4/5=(20+4)/5=24/5

( A + B + C )'s 1 day work = 1/(24/5)=5/24......(1)

And
A and C together can plough a field in 8 days , So

( A + C )'s 1 day work = 1/8 .......(2)

So ,

Only B's 1 day work, We can get after subtracting equation 2 from equation 1 and get

B's 1 day work = 5/24 - 1/8 = (5 − 3)/24 = 2/24 = 1/12

So,

B alone can plough a field in 12 days
