A bag contains 100 indentical marble stones numbered from 1 to 100 what is the probability of drawing a marble having number divisible by 4&5 ?
i know the answer is 2/40 but according to my understanding possible outcomes are 20,40,60,80,100 =5
So probability must be 5/100=1/20 now I'm not able to understand how it can be 2/40 please explain

Actually , your answer is also correct , because whe we will simplify 2/40 we will get 1/20 as well So in other words 1/20 same as 2/40 as 5/100 .All are alike and equal to 1/20 after simplification.
