Solution

The correct option is A 0.04
Given that a bag contains 100 tickets having numbers from 1 to 100.
To find out: The probability of getting a ticket having a number which is a multiple of 25.

Hence, total number of tickets, n(S)=100
Numbers from 1 to 100 which are multiples of 25:
25, 50, 75, 100
Hence, total number of favourable outcomes, n(E)=4.
We know that, probability =n(E)n(S)
The probability of getting a ticket having a number which is a multiple of 25=4100
=0.04

Hence, the required probability is 0.04.
