Let A be the event of drawing first yellow marble and B be the event of drawing second yellow marble.

So according to the question,

Probability of choosing first yellow marble is $\text{P(A)}=\frac{8}{22}=\frac{4}{11}$

And, probability of choosing second yellow marble is $\text{P(B)}=\frac{8}{22}=\frac{4}{11}$

Here, the probabilty of drawing yellow marbles is not changing.

$\Rightarrow$ Occurance of event A is not effecting the occurance of event B.

Since, these events does not depend on each other. Hence, they are independent.
