Let us call the event of drawing a white ball A and drawing a red ball B.

Since, both the events are mutually exclusive $P(A\cup B)=P\left(A\right)+P\left(B\right)$

$P\left(A\right)=\frac{Numberofwhiteballs}{Totalnumberofballs}=\frac{4}{4+3+2}=\frac{4}{6}$

$P\left(B\right)=\frac{Numberofredballs}{Totalnumberofballs}=\frac{3}{4+3+2}=\frac{3}{9}$

$\therefore P(P\cup B)=P\left(A\right)+P\left(B\right)$

$=\frac{4}{9}+\frac{3}{9}=\frac{7}{9}$
