A bag contains lemon-flavoured candies only. Hema takes out one candy without lookking into the bag. What is the probability that she takes out (i) an orange - flavoured candy? (ii) a lemon - flavoured candy?

Hi,
The probability of taking out orange candy is 0 because p( impossible event )= 0.
Let the no. of lemon favoured candy be x.

And probability of lemon favoured candy =1/x.

1) there are no orange candies in bag so probability is 0
2) he has full chance of taking out lemon candy thus probability = 1
