Solution

The correct option is A Profit of ₹ 1000
Let us take the profit as a positive integer and loss as a negative integer.
The total profit earned by selling cupcakes = 250×(+10)=(+2500)
The total loss incurred by selling cookies = 300×(5)=(1500)
The total profit/loss = (+2500) + (-1500) = (+1000)
Hence, they had a profit of ₹1000.
