Unless the total energy is specified, besides there is nothing about the motion being stated, wether it is virtical (gravitational potential), for otherwise there is no way to tell wether there is any potential energy in the system, as for now the total energy of the system is purely kinetic.

If total energy was T then potential energy in the system= T-E
