The correct option is C velocity of ball A is usin2θ i + usin θcosθj
By momentum conservation, ball A will move at an angle 90θ above x axis since ball B will move at an angle θ below the x axis as it experiences force only in that direction and in elastic collision, the balls move perpendicular after collision.
Also, by momentum conservation u=v1sin(θ)+v2cos(θ).
By energy conservation, u2=v21+v22.
Solving the above two equations gives v1=usin(θ)
VB=ucos2θiucosθsinθj
VA=usin2θi+usinθcosθj.
