The correct option is A 53 m
Speed of the ball just before the collision u=2gh=2×10×10=102 m/s

If we rotate the wedge make face of the wedge as horizontal.


Hence after collision,
Acceleration along x direction =g sin θ
Initial speed along x direction =u sin θ
Acceleration along y axis =g cos θ
Speed along y axis =u cos θ


At maximum Height vy=0.
Hence, from v2=u2+2aS
0=(u cos θ)2+2×(g cos θ)Sy
Sy=u2 cos θ2g
Sy=(102)2×cos 30o2×10
Sy=100×2×322×10
Sy=53 m.
