a ball is allowed to roll down from an inclines plain. It reaches the foot of the plane and continues to roll on the ground.​it stops after travelling some distance​.​is this violation of law​ ​inertia ?​give reasons for your answer

No. It is not. Newton enhanced Galileo's Law of Inertia that and object will continue to travel in its state of uniform motion or be in its state of rest i.e. maintain its inertia if no other external force is acting on it. Here friction is present, which is an external force. Inertia is the tendency of objects to resist changes. It is not necessary that it can resist for long . To add,inertia of ball is not much because of its mass.
