Man’s travelling time must be the same as Time of flight of the ball.
$\Rightarrow \frac{9}{v_m}=\frac{2u\sin \theta }{g}$
$\frac{9}{v_m}=\frac{2\times 15\times \sin {37}^{\circ }}{10}$
$\Rightarrow v_m=3\times \frac{5}{3}=5{\text{ms}}^{-1}$
