The correct option is A 5 m/s towards left
Given, mass of the ball (m1) is very less as compared to the mass of the wall (m2)
Speed of ball before collision (u1)=5 m/s
Speed of wall before collision (u2)=0 m/s
Let speed of ball after collision (v1)=v m/s
Speed of wall after collision (v2)=0 m/s
In case of elastic collision, when m1<<m2
v1=u1+2u2
v=5+0=5 m/s
i.e velocity of ball is 5 m/s towards left.
