A ball is placed at surface of earth.Now there is no change in velocity in ball so acceleration in ball also 0 then why it's weight is there.Weight is equal to mass x acceleration there is mass but 0 acceleration so weight should also be zero but why it is not zero

When its velocity is zero still gravity force acts on it and there is some equal force acting on it in opposite direction making it at rest, so net acceleration is of course zero, but there is acceleration due to gravity which is g ie. 9.8 $\frac{m}{s^2}$
