The correct option is C $\frac{8h}{9}$ m from the ground

Taking $u=0,a=g,S=8h$

$T=\sqrt{\frac{16h}{g}}$

So at $t=\frac{T}{3},S=u.t+\frac{1}{2}g(\frac{T}{3}{)}^2$ as u=0 and putting value of T.

$S=\frac{8h}{9}$.
