Consider motion in vertical direction
given, uy=0,t=0.4s,ux=3m/s
height, h=uy×t+12gt2=8m
final vertical velocity, vy=uy+gt=4m/s
final horizontal velocity, vx=ux=3m/s
tanθ=vxvy=3/4
horizontal distance, =uxt=1.2m
resultant final velocity, v=v2x+v2y=5m/s
Hence answer is option (c)
