The correct option is A 250 m
Let the final velocity of the ball on reaching the maximum height be v. This v=0 as the ball will momentarily stop at the highest point.
By third equation of motion.

2500=20s
Or, s=125 m
This is half of the total distance travelled by the ball.
Total distance travelled =2×s=250 m
