The correct option is A
When the ball rises, then it moves opposite to the gravity(constant), hence its velocity decreases linearly till it becomes zero (at maximum height). But when ball falls as it moves in the direction of the gravity, its velocity increases and the direction is opposite to during rise, hence fall is shown in the negative region.
