Solution

The correct option is D 39(1.1)m/sec,300

Conserving momentum in X - direction

m×2.2=1.1×m×cos60+vcosθ×m

2.2=1.12+vcosθ

3.32=vcosθ........................(1)

Similarly in Y - direction

vsinθ=1.1sin60

vsinθ=1.132........................(2)

from (1) & (2)

v=3.9(1.1)m/s

θ=300
