vi=2×10×5m/s=10m/s
pi=mvi
=0.4kg×10m/s
=4kgm/s
pi is directed downward.
vf=2×10×20m/s=20m/s
Pf=0.4kg×20m/s=8kgm/s
pf is directed vertically upwards.
Now, impluse = change of linear momentum(100)×Δt=(84)
