A bank gives 10% S.I. (Simple Interest) on deposits for senior citizens. Draw the graph of the relation between the sum deposited and the interest earned for one year.
Hence find
i) The interest on the deposit of Rs.650.
ii) The amount to be deposited to earn an interest of Rs.45.

for Simple Interest
I=PTR100
given T= 1 year
R= 10%
I=P10
so the graph will be straight line passing through origin and slope 0.1.
i) I=P10
given P=650
so I=65
interest on deposit will be Rs.65
ii) I=P10
given I=45
so P=450
amount to be deposited will be Rs.450
