The correct option is C The two magnets will attract each other.
When a bar magnet is cut into half both the halves will have a north pole and a south pole each. Magnets cannot have isolated poles. A new north pole and south pole will be formed at the edges where the bar magnet is cut as shown in the figure. So, the two halves will attract each other.
