  5. The property of the magnet is magnetic poles always exist in pairs.
  6. When a bar magnet is broken into a finite number of pieces, each piece has two poles at its end, a north pole and a south pole.
  7. So, When it is divided into three equal parts total of six poles are formed
  8. In the middle, the poles formed are the North and South poles
