Maximum frequency of rect(f104)=1042=5kHz

Maximum frequency of rect(f104)rect(f104)=2×5=10kHz

Nyquist sampling rate, f(min)=2fm(max)=2(10)=20kHz

Bite/sample used in quantizer, n = 8

Resulting bit rate, Rb=nfs=160kbps

Minimum channel BW required to transmit a signal, which is baseband modelled using a raised cosine filter will be,

(BW)min=Rb2(1+α); α=rollofffactor
