A basket contains apples, guavas and oranges. The number of guavas is 60% more than that of apples and the number of oranges is 12.5% less than that of Guavas. If the total number of these fruits is 80, then find the number of oranges.

y=60%ofx+x=60x100+x=16x10=8x5

z=y125100×y

=yy8

=7y8=78×8x5=7x5
x+y+z=80

x+8x5+7x5=80

x+15x5=80

4x=80

x=20

No. of oranges =z

=7x5

=75×20

=28
