The correct option is B 55
Assume his initial average =X
His total runs after 6 innings =6X
After scoring 80 runs his average got increased by 5 to X+5
So his total runs after 6 innings=6×(X+5)
But it was given that the difference in the total scores after 5 innings and 6 innings =80
6×(X+5)5X=80
6X+305X=80
x=50
His new average =50+5=55
