A battery of $EMF$ $3v$ and internal resistance $r$ connected in series with the resistor $55\Omega$ through can ammeter of resistance $1\Omega$ it reads $50mA$ . Calculate $r$ .

By using the equation

$V=I\times R$

The total internal resistance is given as

$46+r$

Substituting in above equation we get

$\left(46+r\right)=50\Omega$

Which gives the value of resistance is$4\Omega$
