Given:
Volume of liquid,
V=5 l
V=5000 cm3
1 l=1000 cm3
Relative density, ρr =0.8
Density of water, ρw=1 g cm3

Let's assume that the density of liquid is ρ and mass of liquid is M.

From defintion of relative density,
ρr=ρρw

From defintion of density,
ρ=MV

M=V×(ρrρw)
M=5000×0.8×1
M=4000 g=4 kg
