= 600000
Length of beam (l) = 5 m = 500 cm
Breadth (b) = 40 cm
$\therefore$ Thickness of beam = $\frac{Volume}{l\times b}$
= $\frac{600000}{500\times 40}$ = 30 cm = 0.3 m
