A beam of electrons and protons move parallel to each other in the same direction, then they
Two like magnetic poles :
(a) repel each other
(b) attract each other
(c) first attract each other, then repel
(d) neither attract nor repel.
I learnt this in atoms and molecules chapter "Two protons will also tend to repel each other because they both have a positive charge. On the other hand, electrons and protons will be attracted to each other because of their unlike charges."but I have a doubt, that is, if protons can attract electrons, then why electrons in the atom is revolving around the protons and not attracting it.
