The correct option is C Image is real and enlarged.
Here, in this case the object is virtual. So, for this we have
u=+10 cm; f=+20 cm

Using mirror formula,

1v+1u=1f

we get ,

1v=1f1u=1+201+10=1220=120

v=20 cm

From definition of magnification(m),
m=vu=(20)10=+2

Since, the magnification is positive, image formed is enlarged.



Hence, the image formed will be real and enlarged, and at a distance of 20 cm in front of the mirror as shown in the above schematic ray diagram.

Hence, options (a) and (c) are the correct answers.
