The correct option is C Image is real and enlarged. Here, in this case the object is virtual. So, for this we have u=+10cm;f=+20cm
Using mirror formula,
1v+1u=1f
we get ,
1v=1f−1u=1+20−1+10=1−220=−120
⇒v=−20cm
From definition of magnification(m), m=−vu=−(−20)10=+2
Since, the magnification is positive, image formed is enlarged.
Hence, the image formed will be real and enlarged, and at a distance of 20cm in front of the mirror as shown in the above schematic ray diagram.
