Solution

The correct options are
B Y intercept of refracted ray is 32
D perpendicular distance from origin to refracted ray is 3122 units

Refracted ray passes through (1,0) and have an inclination of (45o30o)=15o

So, required equation is
y0=tan15o(x1)

Y intercept = tan15o=32

Refracted equation is

y=sin15ocos15o(x1)xsin15oycos15o=sin15oxcos285o+ysin285o=sin15o

which is in normal form xcosα+ysinα=p

hence, perpendicular distance is p=sin15o=3122
