Length of the saree = 4m = 400 cm

Width of the saree = 5 m = 500 cm

Total area of the saree = 500 × 400 cm² =200000 m²

Width of the border = 25 cm

Length of the saree excluding border = (400 – 25 – 25) cm = 350 cm

Width of saree excluding the border = (500 – 25 – 25) cm = 450 cm

Area of saree excluding the border = 450 × 350 cm² = 157500 cm²

Area of the border = total area of saree – area of saree excluding the border

=42500cm²

=42500/10000= 4.25m²
so cost = 50*4.25=Rs212.5
