Let B join after $x$ months.

Then profit is divided in the ratio $45000\times 12:30000\times x$
Given $\frac{45000\times 12}{30000\times x}=\frac{2}{1}$
$\Rightarrow 45000\times 12=60000x\Rightarrow x=\frac{45000\times 12}{60000}=9months$
$\therefore$ B joined after 9 months
