a biconvex lens of glass is cut into 2 equal halves perpendicular to its principal axis and it is immeresed into water then how many times its focal length be changed than original

by cutting the lens from its pricipal axis doesnot chnage its focal length but reduce the aperture of the lens hence the inage form will be blur.let the refrtive index of the water be less than that of lens .if wee immersed thelens in the water then the focal length will increases as the relative refractive index of the lens will decrease.Regards
