As the static frictional force $=10N$

the body will not move for any force less than $10N$

whatever force applied if it is less than $10N$ then it will be applied to overcome static frictional force

here $6N$ if force is applied

$6N$ will be the magnitude of frictional force on the block

this is because. as we apply $6N$ the block also apply reaction force 6 N and as Action and reaction are equal and opposite. the block doesn't move.
