Ui=12Kx2

= 12×100×(0.1)2

= 12J

Assuming Point of maximum compression is at zero gravitational potential.

Uf = mgh

Ui=Uf

12=0.250×10×h=2501000×10×h

h=1002<1250=15

= 0.2 m

= 20 cm
