The correct option is B 912 mm
Initial potential energy of the block =mgh
This potential energy is converted into spring potential energy when the block hits the spring.
i.e mgh=12kx2,
where x= displacement produced in the spring.

5×10×10=12×1200×x2
10001200=x2
x=0.912 m=912 mm
